Help in the time of COVID-19

The Foundation has promptly engaged with a number of projects providing assistance and support to those particularly at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic: medical staff, social workers, and the elderly. Through the work of the Foundation, a large shipment of respirators, protective suits, goggles, face screens, gloves, and disinfectants was promptly delivered to Latvia. All protective equipment received was immediately handed over to hospitals and social organisations.

The Foundation’s mission is one of social assistance and support. As such, we felt it important that we swiftly and actively join the fight against the virus. We hope that our work will help Latvian society return to its usual rhythm of life as soon as possible.
