The first study year of the Amber Music Discussion Club, supported by the Foundation, has concluded

May 10, 2022, was the final day of the first year of the Amber Music Discussion Club ("Dzintara muzikālo sarunu klubs"), the educational series supported by the Foundation and implemented by the Great Amber Concert Hall.

During the ten meetings of the series, listeners learned about the history of music in Europe and the world, from medieval to modern times. The lectures were prepared by top musicologists and music practitioners, teachers of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, and they were available both in person and online.

The Uniting History Foundation sincerely congratulates all the inquisitive admirers of music and art with the conclusion of the study year. We wish to thank each listener for their interest and time devoted to studies, which proves that our society is not only naturally inquisitive, but also bright and emotionally intelligent. We are certain that these qualities will help us through all times and allow us to preserve our own culture and the strong spirit of the Latvian people.

We are honored to be able to support this unique cultural education project for adults and we are pleased to have had the opportunity to support the successful implementation of this series over 9 months, reaching its audience both in Liepāja and Latvia and beyond through digital concert hall solutions.

Video summaries of the lectures are available in the archive of Digitālais Dzintars at: https://digitalaisdzintars.lv/lv/ieraksti.html#cat=21

We thank our excellent partners, Liepāja Concert Hall Great Amber and Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. We look forward to further collaboration and many more shared moments of art discovery.
