Historical and Educational Projects

The aim of the Foundation's historical and educational projects is to create intercultural dialogue and consolidate society. The projects are aimed at highlighting various aspects of Latvia's multicultural history, focusing on contemporary studies of the Holocaust, Soviet repression and deportations. The discussion and study of these historical aspects are made possible thanks to various forms of verbal and visual dialogue — through museum exhibitions, audio guides and mobile applications, book publishing, interactive tours and classes for schoolchildren. Such educational activities are designed to build a tolerant, educated and cohesive society.
